With our GentleLase™, your treatment is safe, comfortable and effective. The GentleLASE™, a revolutionary long-pulse high energy alexandrite laser system, emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin, to the hair follicle, where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which can disable the follicle leaving the surrounding skin unchanged. The skin is further protected during treatment by a dynamic cooling process where cryogen is sprayed onto the skin cooling the upper layers and providing patients increased comfort. This selectivity helps protect the skin, while effectively treating the unwanted hair.

The Fountain’s licensed and experienced medical staff recommends their patients take a few precautionary steps to ensure maximizing their laser hair removal results.

1. Avoid the sun 1-2 weeks before and after treatment until your physician allows it.

2. You MUST avoid bleaching, plucking, or waxing hair for 8 weeks prior to treatment.

3. If you are tan, or have a dark skin type, a bleaching cream may be started 2-3 weeks before treatment.

Hair grows in cycles. The number of treatments required to meet your desired goals depends upon your skin, hair coloring, and the coarseness of the hair. Everyone will require at least 6 treatments, as the process is only effective on the hairs during their growing cycles.  We also offer free touch-ups for up to a year!
